Chilie Cheese Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

2.5 tsps of yeast
1 tsp of baking powder
3 1/4 c of flour (bread)
1 Tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
4 Tbsps of buttermilk (dry, Saco)
1 Tbsp of gluten (vital wheat)
1/4 c of water (warm)
1 1/4 c of cheese (sharp cheddar)
1 can of chilies (chopped green); drained well

Instructions:

Using a bread machine, put in exact order: yeast, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, buttermilk, gluten and warm water. Push start after proper setting (White Bread) is selected. At machine’s signal after first kneading, put chilies as well as cheese.

Once done, brush some butter or margarine on crust. Serves 12.
