Chili Rice Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tsp of olive oil
1/2 pcs of onion (large); chopped
2 pcs of garlic cloves (medium); chopped finely
2 c of cooked rice (brown)
Sauce:
4 oz of chilies (green, canned)
3 Tbsps of salsa
1/3 c of vinegar (white)
1/4 c of chopped onion
1/2 c of fresh cilantro; chopped
Instructions:
Heat the oil on a large skillet. Saute garlic along with onion till the onion becomes translucent and limp. Add the cooked brown rice; stir thoroughly and constantly till thoroughly heated.
Combine salsa, vinegar, and chilies inside the processor; process till smooth. Add cilantro and onion; stir thoroughly. Pour above the fried rice. Serve at once.
