Chili-Cheese Jubilee Recipe


1 pc of onion (medium); chopped coarsely
2 Tbsps of butter
1 can of tomato sauce (8 ozs)
1 pack of seasoning mixture (chili)
1/2 c of water
1 c of cream (light)
2 pcs of eggs
1 pack of corn chips (6 ozs)
8 ozs of cheese (Monterey Jack); cubed
1/2 c of cheese (Cheddar); grated
1 c of dairy cream (sour)


Saute the onion using butter. Add seasoning mixture, water as well as tomato (sauce). Let simmer five minutes without cover.

Lightly beat the eggs. Pour cream. Mix well.

Lift tomato mixture off heat. Pour egg mixture gradually. Stir often.

Pour 1/2 amount of chips into 1.5-quart saucepan. Drop cheese. Pour half amount of sauce. Repeat layering one time.

Finalize layering with cream (sour) on top. Sprinkle Cheddar. Bake (325 degrees F) for 25-30 minutes while uncovered. This recipe creates 6 serving portions.
