Butterfield Stage Line Chili Recipe

Ingredients:

2 lbs pork (ground)
10 lbs beef (brisket), chopped finely
1 can of green chili (7oz); minced
4 medium-sized onions; chopped finely
1 can of tomato sauce (15oz)
1 Tbsp cumin
1/4 c of oil
1 tsp oregano
3 oz powdered chili
1 oz of Tequila
1 1/2 minced cloves of garlic
1 lb tomatoes, chopped finely
1 tsp of salt
2 jars
1 Tbsp mustard (dry)
1 beer (can)

Instructions:

Put oil in skillet and brown the onions along with the beef. Add in the rest of the ingredients and increase temperature til it comes to a boil.

Reduce the temperature and let it simmer for about two to three hours, stirring once in a while. Don’t stir it thirty minutes before it is served.
